What’s Next?
With additional partners, The Manufacturing Institute will align additional certification programs that are occupation or sector specific for inclusion in the NAM system. The second release will focus on these higher-level skills certification programs. The Manufacturing Institute and its partners will conduct an extensive employer outreach campaign to encourage manufacturers to improve recruitment, selection, retention and training using the NAM system. Educators at all levels will be apprised of the NAM system and associated curricula for education and training to the skills in demand.
